Our Approach
At Happy Cosleeper, we believe that sleep support should strengthen connection, not compromise it. Our approach is grounded in responsiveness, attachment, and deep respect for each family’s unique journey.
We understand that baby sleep is not a problem to fix, but a relationship to nurture. We do not believe in simply putting a plaster on a “problem” by training babies not to call out. Instead, we explore what might be driving those night wakings, whether that is developmental, environmental, nutritional, emotional, or related to sleep setup, so we can address the root cause.
Sometimes frequent waking is completely normal for your baby’s stage, but that does not mean there is nothing you can do. We help you protect your own rest and find gentle ways to make sleep more sustainable, without ever asking you to ignore your instincts or your baby’s needs.
Inside the Coaching Group, support is ongoing and truly personal. You will receive daily guidance from consultants who know your baby’s age, your challenges, and your goals. Every response is thoughtful, individualised, and designed to meet you where you are, not to fit you into a plan.
Our team combines expertise in infant development, attachment theory, neuroscience, and sleep science to help families create rhythms that feel natural and achievable. There is no pressure, no sleep training, and no guilt - just compassionate, evidence-informed support that helps everyone in the family sleep and thrive.

Isadora Ambrose
Isadora is the founder of Happy Cosleeper and a leading voice in the world of responsive, attachment-based infant sleep. Her journey began nearly eight years ago when her first son was born. When he refused to sleep in a cot, she began searching for a way to honour both his needs and hers, and discovered the world of safe cosleeping.
Isadora went on to qualify with Lyndsey Hookway through the Holistic Sleep Coaching Programme, as well as with Lauren Heffernan through the Baby-Led Sleep and Wellbeing Certification. She has also completed additional training in lactation and infant attachment, grounding her work in both science and real-life experience.
Isadora has supported thousands of families to make cosleeping safer, more sustainable, and less overwhelming. Today, Happy Cosleeper is the largest cosleeping community in the world, with over 300,000 followers on Instagram and 265,000 members in its private group.
A mother of three with baby number four on the way, Isadora knows what it’s like to want rest, connection, and support that actually makes sense for your reality. Supporting cosleeping families through every stage of their journey isn’t just her job, it’s her mission!

Mariana Castaman
Mariana is an experienced infant sleep consultant and Early Childhood Educator with over a decade of experience supporting families through the early years. A mother of three and published author, she brings both deep professional knowledge and real-life understanding to her work with parents.
Before specialising in sleep, Mariana worked in early childhood education, focusing on infants and toddlers. She has completed four sleep certifications, including the Baby-Led Sleep and Wellbeing Specialist Certification and the Holistic Sleep Coaching Mini-Certification, and is also a Registered Circle of Security™ Parenting Facilitator.
Her approach is grounded in developmental psychology and attachment theory, shaped by more than ten years of studying Dr Emmi Pikler’s pedagogy and Magda Gerber’s respectful parenting philosophy. Drawing on this rich foundation, Mariana helps families find balance and rest through guidance that honours both the child’s individuality and the family’s values.

Amanda Hadfield
Amanda’s journey with Happy Cosleeper began in 2023 when she joined our team as a moderator during the launch of our free Facebook community. Since then, she has supported thousands of families with warmth and compassion. Her time in the community sparked a passion for supporting mothers and babies in a way that honours connection, and she went on to pursue her formal certification as an infant sleep consultant.
Amanda is one of the only infant sleep consultants in the world trained by two neuroscientists: Dr Greer Kirshenbaum and Dr Rocio Zunini. As a certified Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner, Amanda brings an approach that’s grounded in the science of infant brain development and deeply rooted in attachment-based, fully responsive care.
She’s also completed additional training with Lyndsey Hookway, further strengthening her ability to support families in developmentally respectful and nurturing ways.
In addition to her online work, Amanda also runs Mummy and Me Nurture Neuroscience Circles in Midlothian, Scotland, supporting mothers in areas such as infant sleep, nervous system care, and self-compassion. Â

Chloe Roberts
Chloe’s journey with Happy Cosleeper began in early 2024 when she joined the admin team of our main Facebook community. Since then, she’s become a trusted and familiar voice to thousands of families, offering support with empathy, encouragement, and real-life experience. Her time in the community inspired her to deepen her knowledge and pursue formal training in infant sleep and family wellbeing.
Chloe is a certified Baby-Led Sleep and Wellbeing Specialist, having completed two separate certifications focused on holistic, responsive infant sleep. She’s also a qualified breastfeeding supporter through the Breastfeeding Network and has undertaken additional training with The Lullaby Trust on safe sleep practices.
Her approach is rooted in lived experience and deep respect for every family’s unique journey. Chloe began bedsharing with her first child when he was just one month old, and now supports his mostly independent sleep as a toddler. She recently welcomed her second baby and has returned to the early days of bedsharing once again.
